AustraliaChallenging and Satisfying
As someone that has only recently started branching out from mostly Lego Technic to some other styles of Lego, this build was a very different experience. It took some time to work through (lots of pieces = lots of steps), and it is a BIG build - still trying to find the right place to display it, especially as it has so many great details throughout the build - while there is a "front", the cut-away sections at the back also have lots to show. I also love that you can pull this into 3 sections and there are heaps of mini-fig characters if you want interactive play - my nieces love these builds, even if they aren't as into LOTR as I am! Overall, this was a fantastic build, and I can easily understand why this is being seen as one of the best sets of 2023!!

Really fun and interesting build, with some novel build techniques throughout. Many parts remind me of building classic Lego castles in my youth. But instead putting together an iconic structure from one of the GOAT fantasy worlds. Looking forward to more LOTR builds in 2024. Build is ~ 50 bags and takes a long time.. The final display piece is worth it. All the details throughout make this a fun build. Recommend primatily for adults and experienced builders that won't find detailed pieces too challenging. The only challenge you will have for this set is how and where to best display it!
