Description
Sherman Firefly is a British modification of the American Mid-Tank M4 Sherman during World War II. Between 1942 and 1945, according to the Lend-Lease Agreement, the US transported around 17,000 M4 Sherman medium tanks to the UK. Many vehicles have been modified by the British through the addition of radio stations, armour reinforcement, engine replacement, or finally the installation of a stronger 17-pound cannon that allowed you to fight modern German tanks. In addition to the UK, The Sherman Firefly tanks were used by other Allied troops & Polish Armed Forces in the West.
From the world of COBI comes a model of The Sherman Firefly. It has durable prints corresponding to the historical markings used by 1st Armoured Division of General Maczka. With moving elements such as opening hatches, wheels and tracks, a tower that can be rotated and a barrel that can be lifted and lowered, the tank will work as a great toy for the little ones as well as be a great piece for any collection. There are also two figures: a Polish tank commander with binoculars and an infantry soldier in a British uniform with Polish markings, armed with a Bren machine gun.
